Kiwanis Club Wins
State Awards
At the recent Annual
Mid-Winter Conference of the New Jersey District Kiwanis International held in Edison, the
Hasbrouck Heights Kiwanis Club along with the Greater
Parsippany Club and the Livingston Club were the only three clubs in the state to receive
all three top awards that were presented. Thirty-seven other clubs received either one or
two of the awards.
The Hasbrouck Heights Club was
the only one on the three honorees with a membership of less than 30. The awards were in
Service to the Community, Administrative Excellence and Club Recognition.
The members who attended this
conference were President Colleen Jarvis, Vice-President James Jarvis, Secretary Peter
Gallo, Treasurer Marie Gallo, and Michael and Lita Petrucci. The day was spent attending
workshops on various topics important to the growth of their club and expanding services

Corpus Christi School
Gets New Look
It seems to be very
appropriate that with the new revitalized Corpus Christi School, the Fall of 2002 will
also see a new uniform. Out are the ties and pale blue shirts of old and "in"
are comfortable but neat "polo" shirts with a new custom school logo. [Photo]
