Town Day was held on Saturdays between 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
in Woodland Park. There was plenty of food, amusements and community displays.

In Memory of Lion James W. Mason
The Mayor and Council has set up an area at
the highest point overlooking Woodland Park in memory of Lion James W. Mason. The
dedication was made during a recent Lions Club barbecue. Those present included the
Mayor and Council along with the Mason family members. [HH Lions

Woodland Park Playground Dedication
On June 19, 1999 at 10 a.m.,
Governor Christie Whitman along with Assemblywoman Rose Marie Heck and Mayor William Torre
re-dedicated the Woodland Park Playground.
