2004.

Chief's Tour of the new
Public Safety Building
On November 11, 2003, Fire Chief Robert Thomasey and Police Chief Michael
Colaneri gave us a tour of their new Public Safety Building. This facility will
house the Hasbrouck Heights Police Department, Fire Department and Municipal Court. [Group 1][Group 2]

HHFD moves to third interim home
Due to the demolotion of old Boro Hall and the construction of the New Public Safety
Building,
the HHFD is re-locating for a third time to a new temporary structure located a Central
Avenue and the Boulevard. This facility will house all the HHFD vehicles. A trailer behind
the tent will be used for fire department offices. The units to refresh air packs are stationed in the old
temporary Ambulance Butler building located next the the HHPD on Franklin. The move took place September 3, 2002.

Temporary facilities were operational
late October 2000
On April 11, the Mayor & Council scheduled HHFD to move back to a new temporary
structure at old boro hall site. Work was completed and the facilities were operational
late October 2000. These "temporary Butler" buildings will be re-used by
