Houses Demolished

On January 10, 2001, the houses on The Boulevard and Central Avenue were demolished, marking the beginning of the construction of the new Municipal Complex. Prior to demolition, on January 6, 2001, the Fire Department using a smoke machine and a "dummy" victim, held training excerises to practice search and rescue, ventilation procedures and use of the Thermal Imaging Camera.
