School Additions & Renovations -- Progressive construction photos
After a $10.4 million referendum was passed  in May 1998 by the community, the Board of Education began work on the new additions to Euclid, Linclon and the Jr./Sr. High School on July 1999.  Work was nearly completed September 8, 2000, in time for September 11th school opening.  Here is a photo essay of the project as it unfolded.

Lincoln School Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

. On September 26, 2000 at 7:00 p.m a ribbon cutting ceremony was held to officially opening the Lincoln School addition and renovations. The brief program began with the Pledge of Allegiance, several speakers and the cutting of the ribbon. 

Speakers included : Mrs. Colleen Jarvis (Chairwoman NBC Committee), Assemblywoman Rose Marie Heck, Mayor Willian Torre, Dr. Richard Stepura (Superintendent of Schools), Mr. Art Suriano (BOE President), and Mrs. Lauren Schoen (Lincoln School Principal).
