Bridging is an important transition in a Girl Scout’s
life. It’s a defining moment when a girl becomes aware
of her achievements and is ready for new adventures and responsibilities.
It was mentiond that a new chapter in New Jersey Girl Scouting
is starting in October. After 48 years, there will no longer
be a Girl Scouts of Bergen County. They are merging with the
Lenni-Lenape and Morris councils to become Girl Scouts of Northern
New Jersey. Although there will be some changes, the Girl Scouting
program will continue to teach confidence, courage and character.
