SCOUTS TO DELIVER APPEAL REQUESTS

On Saturday, March 29^th the Boys, Girls and Cub Scouts of Hasbrouck Heights will be delivering "Scouting for Food" bags and an appeal letter for the Kiwanis Club’s 2003 Rainbow Summer Day Program."

A flyer will be attached to each food bag. It will list the food items that should be put in the bag. Please no glass and no expired food. Please support this drive by placing your bag in front of your house for pick up on Saturday, April 5^th. An appeal letter will also be attached to the bag.

This is the eighth year that the Kiwanis Club is the soliciting agent for the "Rainbow Summer Day Program". This program, sponsored by ARC of Bergen and Passaic County, affords developmentally disabled youngsters from our community the opportunity to attend a special six-week program structured to meet their individual needs.

Please mail your "Rainbow Fund" checks back in the envelope provided. Remember every donation is important and no contribution is to small.

The Kiwanis Club extends its appreciation to the Boys, Girls and Cub Scouts for delivering the appeal letters. Also we would like to thank the members of the Masonic Lodge and Knights of Columbus for helping with this drive.
