A Coolidge Avenue house fire was reported at about 2:05 p.m. on February 6, 2003.
The fire started with burning leaves in the back yard, then extended to the rear of
the home's back room and kitchen. There was extensive damage to the rear of the home and
the building department deemed the home uninhabitable.
This was a mutual aid response. At the scene were Wood Ridge, Moonachie, Lodi and with an
ambulance from Hackensack. On standby at HHFD Headquarters were Carlstadt and
Wallington.
