The Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department held its Annual Inspection at
7:00 p.m., May 8, 2004 at the third temporary headquarters at The
Boulevard and Central Avenue (previous facilities included Terrace
Ave./Kundert & Hamilton Ave./Butler Buildings). Local officials
and the Fire Chiefs from area towns attended.. The public was welcomed.
The equipment was inspected. Refreshments were then served at
the Municipal Complex Senior Center across the street. Since "The
Big Fire", this was the fifth inspection held "away
from" a permanent firehouse facilities in the department's history.
The previous four inspections were held at the Euclid Masonic
Lodge.
